Our journey began in 1894 in Unjha, Gujarat with the vision to promote Ayurveda vastly through a holistic approach to health and wellness. For over 131 Years, we have been a trusted name in the history of Ayurveda by continuing the legacy of our founder Late Rasvaidya Nagindas Chhaganlal Shah who dedicated his life to spreading his knowledge of Ayurveda across India and beyond through the publication of his most valuable books “Bharat Bhaishajya Ratnakar” and “Bhaishajya Sar Sangraha”.

Our revered Dadashri established Pharmaceuticals into Pharmaceuticals (P) Ltd. Initially, he studied Ayurveda texts and obtained a degree in “Rasvaidya”. After serving patients continuously for 10 years, he earned the love, respect, and reverence of the public. The production of pure Ayurvedic medicines was started from a small room by him. Today, a free Ayurveda hospital named after Shri runs in Unjha.

Our supremely revered father possessed the qualities of big aspirations, determination, and adventurous talent. He transformed his father’s small-scale pharmacy into an updated large-scale pharmaceutical Ayurvedic manufacturing facility. Through his tireless efforts, he finally established a private limited company for general public use by creating a national network with the sale of high-quality and reliable Ayurvedic medicines and attained nationwide popularity as “Unjha Pharmacy”. After compiling Ayurvedic knowledge from various texts, he published notable books, including “Bharat Bhaishajya Ratnakar” and “Bhaishajya Sar Sangraha” an abstract collection, which is government-approved.
